About Me

Hi, I'm Ms. Rita.

I'm an occupational therapist with 16 years of experience helping children build the skills they need to participate more fully in everyday life, from fine motor skills and self-care to emotional regulation, play, and social participation.

I began my career at Children's Specialized Hospital in New Jersey, working with infants and young children as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric team. I then spent nearly a decade in school-based occupational therapy across both special education and general education settings, completing evaluations, contributing to IEP teams, and collaborating closely with teachers and families to support meaningful progress beyond the therapy room.

For the past four-plus years, I have been serving children and families throughout the Flathead Valley through IICA Speech, working with families in Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and surrounding communities.

Today, I bring that broad experience into every session. My approach is warm, playful, and purposeful. Every activity is chosen to build real-life skills while helping your child feel engaged, capable, and confident. Parents are always part of the process, and I aim to make therapy practical, collaborative, and supportive for the whole family.
